How many of us often complaints about the non-stop combat of thoughts. Every other person is struggling with this unconquered enemy of peace. Any unfavourable situation is strong enough to shake our harmony and can take us back there from where we have started.
But this can be controlled, Yes! There is no methodology to follow, there is no course to take and there is no guide for it. All you need is to just practice peace. You have heard it very right. Practicing peace is one thing which you need to teach yourself.
So question arises how to practice peace? Here are few tips if they can help:
1.Never Curb Your Inner Voice: Most of us do this very often. We suppress our inner voice a lot. Here it is not about the sixth sense I am talking about but what actually our heart says. We can’t accept the things which our heart constantly tells to do. This is damage, an irreversible damage so before it will lead you to the one way road, make sure you take a right turn. Accept the things and let them happen naturally. You want to cry? Cry your heart out loud. You want to make mistakes or things you are unsure about, at least attempt them. Doing is always better than regretting.
2. You are Human! You have Emotions: I have seen many people who stay stoned hearted as if nothing is going to affect them or out of those 99% are pretending it. We are humans and we are designed in a way by almighty. There is no supremacy in boasting toughness when you are dying inside. Accept the truth as we are human and we have emotions. Next time whatever is affecting you, react towards it. Not reacting piles up a hefty volcano inside you.
3. Instinct Works: In our daily lives we majorly ignore our intuitive directions. “I should have kept a sweater for today but I did not although it crossed my mind. Now it’s chilling”. Such incidents happen every day. We are in so hurry as we overlooked such signs. We neglect towards “Signs”. Pay close attention to it. Next time unlock the door and pick your sweater instead of thinking and rushing.
4. Talk to yourself: I believe in one thing, until you will not open up with yourself, you cannot practice peace. Talk to yourself. It will look weird in starting and trust me you will hide so many things from yourself even. Relax! You are not being jailed and hanged. Accept your mistakes; confront your wrong doings or even your unreasonable emotions.
5. Practice Silence: To practice peace, what you need the most is to practice silence. It’s not related to the outer clamour around you, it is about curbing the inner confusion. A noise which keeps you haunt about the suspicious future. So calm your soul down. Choose a quiet place and focus on your blessings. For a while just imagine perfection of life. It is an illusion but it will somehow feed your soul and bring silence.
There could be so many methods to practice peace and stop your overthinking. You can bring harmony with your emotions, no matter how disordered your emotions are. It is ok to feel wrong at times, forgiving yourself can soothe your life. Remember prevailing negative thoughts not only can damage your peace but your hopes too so rise up and conquer odds.
