You know what.. he gifted me a pair of glasses,
A whole new glasses
I wore them and my world has changed
I never knew being with the right people can be so beautiful..
Far, somewhere far, amidst a journey, I lost myself
Something went in my eyes, I thought it was sand, gusting in the dark
I rubbed my eyes, dust off lashes,
Then, guess what
Everything was so negative…. I was encircled by the darkness..
For the first time, I met some aliens – Distrust, Envy, Insecurity, Betrayal, Lie, Hatred, Deceit, and what not..
And it wasn’t in me….
It was like somebody threw a pebble in stagnant water….I stumbled..
It was so awkward for me to sit with these strangers..
I felt a loner, disturbed..
My world was pretty easy..But this world was…Duhhh…Kinda weird..
It wasn’t dust..No it wasn’t!
Then he showed up..
He was just like a dew drop..
For a while but to soothe my soul..
He, then found my misery
He bought those glasses,
Full of positivity..full of love..and in other words..Full of Me..
I wore them and stood in front of the mirror..
The feeling was just…. too astounding..too familiar….too mine..
After millions of hours, I saw me..
The Real Me..
This was the best gift..
He actually gifted me – “Me”
